We recommend that you point your domain or subdomain to the Simwood Resellers customer Portal, to do that you will need to create a CNAME record with your domains DNS provider.
A CNAME record is designed to allow one domain or subdomain to point to another domain or subdomain.
By default, CNAMEs are often used to ensure that your mail, FTP, and that www versions of your domain load to your proper domain
So that your customer reseller portal can appear on your domain and white-labelled you will need to update or create a CNAME record with your DNS provider. To retrieve the ‘Portal Address’, log in to your reseller portal and click on ‘Branding Preferences’ in the bottom left-hand corner.
In this example, we want you to make your subdomain target the portal address. After you've logged in and obtained the portal address, you should log into your domains DNS providers control panel to set up a CNAME record.
You may wish to create your own subdomain to point at the customer portal.
Our customer portal URL in this example is demo2.partner.sipcentric.com yours will likely be customername.partner.sipcentric.com
And you may wish to create voip.yourdomain.com or pbx.yourdomain.com for the CNAME entry.
