Trunk Sample Config: 3CX

Please find below a sample configuration for the 3CX PBX.

Please note: We do not support 3CX and the below configuration is provided as-is.

Boxed sections represent those that needed to be amended from default.

General

NB: To change the presented number / CLI please ensure each extension is configured with the CLI you would like to display.

Inbound Routing

Please note: There may be other ways of getting the same result.

1. Set up Inbound Parameters
2. Add the numbers to DIDs on the trunk in e164 format (44x for the UK, 1x for NANPA etc)
3. Under each extension, ensure you select the Direct Inbound Dialing

NOTE: For the new version of 3CXPhoneSystem 20.X  Configurations have changed. Here is how you should go about it. Note that the Authentication ID and the Main Trunk Number are the 6-digit extensions. 

To set up the Trunk in the new 3cx platform, click Admin -> Voice & Chat ->  Add Trunk

To modify the Settings of the trunk, click on the new Trunk you have created, then click on Options

Then click on Caller ID Control. Use the settings below. 

Please note that the drop downs have more options that you can play around with if you want to modify the P-asserted Identity, but the settings in the screenshoots here worked fine.
